Alberta based statistics

Alberta Based Statistics as of Feb 28/09

Ø      Congratulations to the operators who have obtained there Second Class Steam ticket. There are 68 new Second Class Operators in Alberta since February 29, 2009.

Ø      It is safe to assume that over the next 5-10 years 800 out of 1873 Second Class Operators will be eligible for retirement.

Ø      800 represents 43% of all valid Second Class Operators

Ø      If you average the number of new Second Class Operators over the last four years, you see that there have been about 67 new ones a year.

Ø      This simple reasoning would suggest that the demand for Second Class Operators will be increasing despite a slowdown in the economy.
